GREATER LOVE SINGS ON THE MAIN STAGE

God opened yet another door for Greater Love last week. At Abraham Productions' *"Singing in the Sun" *at Myrtle Beach, SC, Greater Love was blessed to participate because of another artist's last minute cancellation. The group opened their part of the Thursday afternoon concert with their May 1, nationally-released single, "Golden Shores" featuring bass singer, Don Leake. They received a tremendous response from the crowd of 4 to 500. They follow up with a new heart-felt solo by alto, Sherry Richards, called "Peace that Covers all the Pain" and then the best part of all came when the Spirit fell during the groups favorite old standby, "I Believe in a Hill Called Mt Calvary", for which they received a standing ovation. They closed out their part of the program with their favorite toe-tapper, "Someday I Know" featuring lead singer, Eddie Richards. Though not featured due to some recent illness, Craig Leake still managed to make all of Greater Love's songs complete with his rich Baritone voice. The group came off the stage greeted by many who wanted to share their enjoyment of the group's performance.

Not realizing that God wasn't finished with them yet, the group went back to their booth ready to now relax and enjoy the rest of the evening. At the end of the afternoon concert, a fan came by the table congratulating them for winning. You see, GL was not aware that the audience would be choosing one artists from the exhibit hall concert to sing on the Main Stage that night in the main auditorium. After practically running back to the concert area to confirm what they were told, Sherry came back and shared with the others the news that they had wons. Needless to say, they were very excited. To anyone who was a part of the audience that day, Thank you. As they were alloted time to do one song on the main stage, they again shared the audience favorite, "I Believe in a Hill".
